Bex Analyzer installation and Excel 2010 security options

Dear all.

 

I'm installing Bex Analyzer 7.3 with the latest packages available on the market place and the Bex toolbox is not working at all.

 

Here is my config :

Win7 Enterprise

Office 2010

SAPGui 7.3 FEP 3

BexAnalyzer 7.3 SP 201

 

In fact my company has set the Excel security options in such a way that the "Trust access to the VBA project object model" is grayed out unticked.

 

It seems to cause the Bex toolbar issue because the Add in is not able to install correctly.

 

I'm sure we are not the only one having set this security option like this.

 

Do you know if there's a way to install correctly the Bex with the option unticked ?

Hi All,

 

I need an urgent requirement for removing duplicate technical query names from the production. Since there are few issues with the SAP given program I am customizing the SAP Program. Can any one tell me what is the table where the QUERY NAME and it's technical name can be found?

Office 365 / Office 2013 and BEx

Some Background:

 

Office 365 allows you to use the web apps (office 2013) which have reduced functionality.  But it also allows you to do a local install of the Office 2013 applications which are full functional.  We have struggling to get any help on Excel 2013 and Bex analyzer (7.x).  We continue to have issues with Excel 2013.

 

We have installed the full install from Office 365 and Excel with the BEx add-on enabled crashes Excel 2013.  We also installed a MSI Office 2013 version (Not Office 365) and see the same issues.

 

We have conformed to all the specifications that should allow Excel 2013 to work... IE  patch levels, versions, etc..  We have tried SAPGUI 7.2 patch level 10 and now I am trying SAPGUI 7.3 patch level 6.  still no luck.  see the attached spreadsheet.

 

We can disable the BEx  analyzer add-on in Excle 2013 and Excel won't crash.  We enable it and it crashes Excel.  We opened a case with Microsoft first and after reviewing they have said they don't support third party add-on's.

connection to SAP gateway failed

In my PC BEX Analyzer has been installed but it's not at all opening.

I need your help to design a BEx Report , on rows I have Cost Center Groups and on Column I have Fiscal Year Period

 

And the YTD should be a displayed as a different block and another Block Under Fiscal Period.

BEx Analyzer displays wrong number of decimal places after implementing BW patch

Hey folks,

 

we patched our BW 7.31 from PL10 to PL15 last weekend and now we got some issue with the number of decimal places shown in BEx Analyzer 7.x.

 

One example for KF X

 

Settings Info Object X

 

Decimal Places:                         Not defined

 

RSRT - Display X

 

Shows 3 decimal places

 

Query Designer Settings using KF X

 

Number of Descimal Places:     0  [Use Default Settings: NO]

 

BEx Analyzer Properties for KF X

 

Decimal Places:                         0

______________________________________________________________________

Resulting in BEx Analyzer workbook shows 3 decimal places instead of 0!

Anyone with an good idea about that?

IF ELSE condition formula - BEx query designer

Hello guys,

 

I have 3 columns - C1, C2 and ( C1 %A C2 ).

 

In C1 % C2, i have to write a formula.

 

If ( C2 = 0 ) THEN ( C1 * 100 ) ELSEIF (C2 NE 0 ) THEN ( C1 %A C2 ).

 

The formula I wrote does not seem to be working. I am using this formula in cell reference

 

(C2 == 0) * C1 * 100 + (C2 <> 0) * C1 %A C2.

 

This is not working.

 

When I use this formula in the cell reference, then the result is still 'X' (i.e. undefined)

 

If I use only this:

 

(C2 == 0) * C1 * 100

 

Then the formula works fine (eg. if C1 = 2, C2 = 0 result is 200%).

 

I tried to use 'OR' instead of '+'  in the formula. Nothing seems to work.

 

Please advise.

Broadcasting MHTML File

Hi All,

 

When I broadcast the MHTML file text from the contents are appearing in the MHTML file.

 

In the below setting, in the contents I have given THIS IS TO TEST BROADCASTING 4 times.

 

And when I broadcast, I can these 4 lines, when I open the MHTML file. First the 4 lines and then the report contents.

 

How can make sure that whatever I have maintained in the Contents will not appear in the report file.

Variable Creation on user entry FISPER

Hi All,

 

 

I need help to design a BEx Query , currently I am facing a challenge. The client require the report query design as per the screen shot.

 

Hence I have

 

1. I have calculated YTD using 0P_FPER (User Entry Value).

2. But the rest figures , I need to display over the periods , for example user entered 003.2009 , the Key Figure should be displayed under three column 001 till 003 and YTD Key figure in single column cumulative of all three periods.

 

3. Please help as I am unable to create variable which will give me 002.2009 and another variable 003.2009 ..

 

 

The number of column should be dynamic in nature depending upon user entry.
